Face and Outfit of the night! Friday night AKA Party Night :)

Friday night was drinks with the girls, drinks involved us deciding our town was crap and we should go into leeds which is a 20min train away......to go to a club that had seen better days LOL. All in all it was a funny night but going to Leeds wasn't the best plan! Anyway my FOTN and OOTN.....

The make up I used to my FOTN was:

FACE

• Rimmel lasting finish 25hr foundation (shade 201)
• NYC concealer
• Rimmel Stay Matte powder
• Bourjois Blush Pots (Lilas D'or)
• Rimmel profession eyebrow pencil (black/brown)

EYES

• Benefit Lemon Aid eye primer (See HERE for review)
• Neutral shade all over the eye (4th shade along on the top row of the MUA Heaven and Earth Palette see HERE)
• Accessorize Eyeshadow (Platinum see HERE) packed on my lid and then lightly under the browbone and blended
• Midnight Garden (A Navy shade from the Sleek Monaco Palette see HERE) in the crease and outer V of the eye

LIPS

• NYX Long Lipliner (Nutmeg)
• NYX Round Lipstick (Power - A lilac shade see HERE) MIXED WITH Lip Balm and Clear Gloss as its abit overpowering alone

Because the Accessorize shadow is a metallic strong silver, and I added the definition with the Navy Blue in the crease I wanted to keep my lips simple which is why I choose just a light hand coat of 'Power' it is such a pretty colour you just have to use it with caution!

My hair was really decided to let me down, and I was going to just go with a really high sleek ponytail but the Mr just looked at me and was like 'No Vikki' Enough said LOL. Ideally I would have curled it or put some bounce in but laziness took over and I was rushing, So I sprayed it with Batiste for abit of va-va-voom and swung it over one side of my shoulder.

Moving onto the Outfit of the night I wore this one sleeve leopard print silver/grey dress from Miso @ Republic I got it about January time and I love it, its a lovely thick material and slightly rouched and the leopard bits are velvety, the sleeve is slightly sheer you can't see the sleeve in the pics but it is a long sleeve

Accessories I had the black bangle with silver flecks on that you can see in the above picture (you can't see my nails but it is Barry M 'Shocking Pink a bright pink which I had on for a day and just kept on (theres that laziness again ha ha ha) and these earrings which are some new favourites I got in primark for a bargain £2.50, they have little grey feathers on which matched my dress perfectly

And to finish off (not including the black tights which are a neccessity in this poor excuse of a summer the UK is having) I wore these silver heels, They have a slightly metallic cracked effect and they are Miss Selfridge

Pretty pink OOTN (outfit of the night) & FOTN (face of the night) for my girls birthday

So last Saturday was my girl Kym's 22nd birthday and we had a party, I wore a new dress that i've actually had since I got it off my mum for my birthday in January. I had on Ciate 'Cupcake Queen' paint pots nail colour that I reviewed and did a NOTD post on HERE and it matched my dress exactly, my 'face of the night' was black lined cat-eyeliner eyes and matching fuchsia lips, I kept my hair and jewellery pretty simple just straightened my hair and put in my stud diamond earrings as my dress has jewelled panels and I didn't want to look too OTT, I wore it with some black heels and a black clutch originally I was wearing white and silver but it just looked abit tacky so ditched them and chose black,

 

My dress was Jane Norman and it was strapless aswell which I LOVE strapless dresses it was abit tight fitting which didn't make it the comfiest lol but it is one of my fave dresses I have,

My specific make up products were -

Face -  

• NYC concealer (medium)
• Collection 2000 powder (medium)
• Honolulu W7 bronzer (to countour with)
• Sleek face & body GLO highlighter (on my cheeks for extra bronzy shimmer)
• Benefit Posie Tint (on my cheeks)
• Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation (shade 201)

Eyes - 

• Maybelline eyeshadow all over my eye (golden sand)
• Sleek Original Palette (the pinky-beige metallic colours to highlight and on my lid)
• Collection 2000 24hr felt tip eyeliner pen (black)
• Calvin Klein Eyebrow pencil (black - too dark for my eyebrows so I use it as a pencil eyeliner now)
• L'oreal telescopic mascara (black)
• Rimmel lasting finish eyebrow pencil (black/brown)

Lips - 

• L'oreal Glam Shine lipgloss (perfectley pink)
• Rimmel exxagerate lipliner (eastend snob)
• Sleek True Colour lipstick (fuschia)

I also fake tanned with St Moritz but you can't see it much on these pics silly me did it on the same evening so it didn't develop as brown as it was the next day!

Guess whos baaaaaaack!!!! My B-day night out look!

Yay im back properley from now!! I have so much to catch up on like SO SO SO much so I really don't know where to start I thought i'll get the hello's out the way and then I need to blog about my 100 follower giveaway which I think i'll photograph tonight and post up tomorrow,

whats new with me you ask......well  I have lots of new stuff to blog about including the new Rimmel 25hr lasting finish foundation which I am loving! I am gonna try not overload you all so thought maybe a blog a day will be ok to get me back on top of things!

So in the 6wks thats gone its been.....My 22nd birthday and birthday night in town (Jan 15th).....My 22nd and Nicoles 25th bday night in manchester (22nd Jan) and Valentines day! So here goes!

I had a great birthday my main presents were some boots and 2 dresses which I LOVE so much (and still haven't got to wear one of them its my friend Zoes birthday this weekend so going to do a post about my make up and this dress then) and Me, Ash and my girls all went out to town for the night, nothing too fancy as it was the big night out the following Saturday so I wore one of my new dresses from my mum, I did very smokey eyes and pinky rose lips, I don't know why I decided on red lips when I was wearing purple but I like to be random LOL

I got tipsy on champage so it was good times :) Next was the Manchester night out I commited a bad crime.....I was an 'OUTFIT REPEATER' hahahah basically I wore the same dress I wore to Liverpool a few months ago becasue the dress I planned was at my mums and I didn't have time to go pick it up, I don't think its that bad to wear something twice seriously though lol, here I curled my hair with the babyliss curling wand and did a very dark look on my eyes and a bright pink Barry M lipgloss on my lips,

I look so bewildered in the last pic and that drunken pout in the 2nd pic *SMH*

Then finally Valentines we have a Red Lip look using Barry M lipstick, which is abit too much of a harsh red I think for me but I have a new Wet and Wild lipstick in red I want to try, I got a lovely red top with lace detailing down but the pic does not do it justice at all!! my bad phone taking rubbish pics as usual and also got a lovely big bear with a gorgeous lilac rose! LOVE IT!

Soooooo.......Manchester with the ladies!

Well after much looking forward to Manchester with the girls.....it came....on the SAME day snow did and on the same night it was the coldest in 47years!

Still armed with my coat (bleurgh I hate coats) we still went!

Thought I would share some pics, we will next be roadtrippin in Jan as its mine, my friend ena and my friend nicole's bdays all in Jan (mine 15th, ena's 20th, and nicole 25th - how random!! I'll be 22, Ena the big 21 and Nicole 25, we all dont look a day over 19 haha)


We spent most the night in BOUTIQUE nightclub (http://www.boutiqueclub.co.uk/) if you're in manchester ever on a Sat night and really like your RnB, Hip-Hop, Funky house and more urban music I would definatley recommend, it was really busy too but be warned its quite expensive (well compared to my town Entry was free for ladies before 11pm but £10 after which we had to pay and then the drinks were still expensive like medium glasses of rose wine £5 each which only cost like £2.50 if that at most places around here) But you only live once (says the girl that didn't buy one drink all night just stayed thirsty hahahahaha for a FIVER I can buy a bottle thanks LOL)

Partying in Manchester this Sat night OUTFIT!

So me and the ladies are off to manchester this sat (its about 45mins away from our town) so 8 of us have got a minibus and we are off!! Cant wait as I have only ever been to manchester on a night out once about 2-3yrs ago and it was really good!

So been struggling for an outfit but managed to find one now!

This black and leopard print bodycon dress from the Petite range at Miss Selfridge, it was in the sale and the last one and a perfect fit! my lucky day LOL. It has lace around the black bit at the top and  is silky and really cute thin straps


I am teaming it with some of these -

Over the Knee socks!!! I love these but could never find a time or outfit to wear them with and saw Pixie Lott in some at the T4 Stars of 2010 show that was on last Sunday and yay finally found an outfit to incorporate them into!


Lastly -

These New Look suede black wedge shoes, these look abit blah on the photo but in real life they do look good plus they're going to be very comfy I actually bought them just to wear on a daytime basis with leggings and stuff instead of being stuck in uggs and other boots LOL but then I tried them on with my dress and the over knee socks and they kind of ended up making it look like I had thigh high boots on! My dress is quite detailed and the socks are abit of a statement so didn't want to go to awkward with shoes so decided to stay simple and wear these.

I will acessories with my crocodile print plain black clutch bag and maybe some gold bangles and just some simple or no earrings as don't want to go too OTT!

LIVERPOOL!!! @ Zoo Club

So last night was liverpool night we had a amaz-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiing time! Everyone was in a really party and good mood and we only ended up in one place as the music was soooooo good we stayed there the whole night!

I got some photos of me in my dress and the makeup i was quite proud of LOL! Theres a few more but I will add them later for now CLICK TO ENLARGE AS WITH ALL PICS -

I basically did my make up how i did a few posts back in the 'easy but glam daytime look in a hurry' post although took more time! Plus instead of using the Sleek Original pallette I used the 'Bad Girl' one and used the smoky grey colours then blended and added the noir colour in the outer corners, I also lined my lower lids with a eyeliner pencil and joined with the top line for a darker smokier look, The lips look lighter which is because i put a pinky lipstick on over the other products mentioned in that other post (using MUA lipstick in shade4 a baby pink colour)


I loved my dress soooooo much and wasn't as cold as I thought although my hair got nicely ruined thanks to the rain! haha oh well and for the first time ever I went out with no clutch bag!!!! I forgot to buy a matching one and none of mine went so I had Ash carry my cards, money and one lipstick hahaha can't believe i survived, I had to dance around my camera with no bag!! :-)

We hope to go out of town partying again soon so any recommendations in the UK let me know!!
