Beyonce 'Best Thing I Never Had' Inspired Face of the Day

So for this FOTD I took a slight inspiration from my new FAVE song 'Beyonce - Best thing I never had' I love the natural but glory bridal look she has going on it honestley is my fave video she has possibly done. How stunning is she!

 

 

It is only Beyonce INSPIRED also abit 'wedding look' inspired in general as its abit differnet to hers for a start her eyes in the video are abit more natural whereas I added abit of black as it feel the really natural eyes don't suit me but this would definatley be similar to my chosen wedding look, glowy & glam!

FACE:

• L'oreal True match foundation (Golden Beige)
• W7 concealer palette
• W7 Honolulu bronzer to contour
• Bourjois blush pot in (Rose D'or)
• Sleek Glo Face & Body highlighter (Peach shimmer)

EYES:

• Rimmel Glam eyes (Punchy Taupe a shimmery light nude/gold all over the eye)
• Sleek 'Noir' (just lightly on the outer corners this is found in most the palettes its the black shade I used mine from the Bad Girl palette which seems darker than the shade in the Original palette)
• Sleek Glo face and body highlighter as used on my face but just under my browbone
• Clinique High impact mascara
• Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid liner 
• Calvin Klein black kohl pencil (originally an eyebrow pencil but the black shade is too dark for me so use it as a eyeliner now)
• Rimmel pro eyebrow pencil (black/brown)

LIPS:

• Maybelline Moisture extreme (Anemone)
• Mixed with Rimmel Lasting Finish (Crush)
• Rimmel 1000 kisses Lipliner (Tiramisu)

I did my hair with Boots Essentials Jumbo curling tong which I still need to do a review on this is my fave hair tool right now as im loving abit of bounce in my hair without it been majorly curly I think i've said this before but hey ho!

Beyonce VS Lorella Cuccarini......Who did it best

I watched Beyonces billboards performance in awe, (before you read on if you haven't seen it catch it HERE I do think she is a talented AMAZING artist and when I saw this I was speechless, But now the Grammy-winner has been accused of stealing the idea for her performance after a video of a performance last year by Italian pop star Lorella Cuccarini emerged.

BUT Beyonce has since admitted she got shown the video by her make up artist and was inspired to work with the team who created it for Lorealla but do we think Beyonce would have give credit if she wouldn't have been called out and do you think its TOO similar? Personally I give Lorella props for doing it first but I do think Beyonce killed it, I can't not like her performance I want to watch it again now LOL BUT Lorella has said it took years for her to create (just for someone else to come along and jack it and do it and get such a great recognition) would you be pissed? You bet I would LOL

This Lauryn Hill cover by Marsha ambrosius I can't take off repeat, I very much recommend going to cop her album, i've got goosebumps!

I love K.Michelle this is the latest single I cant wait for her 'pain medicine' album shes mentored by R.Kelly which says it all as hes someone else I love.

Happy 2011 for tomorrow and Happy Birthday to my boy for today

Happy 2011 for tomorrow everyone, I hope you all have a FAB new year and hope 2011 is a positive and prosperous year for each and all of you lovely people!

2010 hasn't been a bad year for me to be fair, I feel it has been my biggest year as I have grown so much and visited more places in 2010 than I ever did my whole life as my shoots took me all over the UK, and because I became my own boss it really taught me valuable lessons. Don't get me wrong I have made some mistakes, and done alot of things I don't feel were 'me' or right for me,  but we all have to make mistakes in life to learn, right?! and I now truly know what I want, who I am and what I will and won't stand for!

I also gained a great circle of FABULOUS girlfriends (shout out to you girls you know who you are my SEXY CREW ha ha)

2011 my resoloutions are stop stressing, take life as it comes, be happy and work really hard at my career, and at this current moment in time I have no idea what that chosen career is as I want to focus more on other aspects in 2011 and possibly start doing some make-up courses, go to uni or even get a part-time 'normal' job to do aswell as modelling as I need some stability back in my life and the modelling industry is on abit of a downward spiral in general. But one things for sure I will do my damn best to enjoy 2011 right from Jan to Dec!

Also today on New Years Eve is my boy's 24th Birthday......Ashley is the most important man in my life full stop, and hopefully always will be, we have been through thick and thin and sun and rain and I hope to still be wishing him a happy birthday in 50years time, he inspires me, he pushes me, supports me and is someone  I can always count on and I am so glad he's part of my life. He is so talented at what he does (DJ-ing) and seeing his passion for his work and I know he is going to be a great success as he is so talented (check out www.soundcloud.com/dj-sniper-d-remix-kid)

Hi guys just a Just caught the video for 'Fall for your type' with Jamie Foxx and Drake and LOVE IT! The main model is playmate Jessica Burciaga urgh she is soooooooooooooooo stunning, her make up is always so nice and I love her whole look on her myspace blog http://www.myspace.com/jessieburciaga/blog/424954348 she actually talks about what make up she likes and uses

She kind of has that glow-y natural make up look similar to how J-Lo used to do it, where everythings nudey and bronze, I am going to have to do a make up look on her soon, When I get a tan LOL!

MAC's Nicki Minaj 'Pink Friday' Lipstick launching tomorrow!

I didn't know this was even coming?!! How behind am I LOL. It's to coincide with the Pink Friday album release, apparently it is the plain black packaging though? Even Lady Gaga's MAC lipstick wasn't plain, that doesn't fit in with Nicki's larger than life persona well but oh well

Drake - Thank me later - this album is history in the making, I love it, ''Karaoke'' was my fave track, but I like them all, ''Miss me'' and ''Fancy'' though aswell stand out for me. I don't even need to say no more this album and the Drake-hype speaks for itself!

Trey Songz -Passion, Pain and Pleasure - I have loved Trey songz since before he was big, when he had a track out called ''just gotta make it'' think that was a good 3yrs ago if not 4 or more, my fave song of his right now is can't be friends just seen the video and it is fire! I loved ''already taken'' too, this man is so talented it is unreal and im glad hes getting the recognition he deserves, each track off the album is fab, ''Please return my call'' and ''Red lipstick'' are the ones I have been repeating.

Jayden - A year in the life - I love this album especially the track ''Benefits'', not alot is known of Jayden but he is so talented http://www.jaydenmusic.com I randomly came across his first album and downloaded it and it is amazing, 'benefits' has a video so go youtube it and theres another great song called ''Created a monster'' on the album.

*Trina Ft. Monica - I want it all, I love Trina and Monica, my favourite Trina songs are 'U and Me', 'Wish I never met you' ft Shonie, 'Here we go again' ft Kelly Rowland and 'Don't go' ft Qwote but this new one with Monica is great I am a Monica fan too her last album was hot she has an amazing voice

*Bashy - Fantasy, Time for a UK artist! Bashy is so lyrically talented, Fantasy is so catchy and I love the video featuring the beautiful Preeya Kalidas who is also in another song I will mention next, I love the lyrics in this and I am constantly listening to it

*Skept ft. Preeya Kalidas - Cross my heart, I will confess I am one of the biggest Skepta fans around as he is so lyrically clever and puts real thought into his verses, ''Rescue me'' was another song I loved purely because of the meanings and words, But cross my heart is one of my current faves, Preeya has a great voice and the chorus is so catchy and even the video is great check it out!

*Nicki Minaj - I could be here all day talking about this beautiful barbie but I won't, my favourite Nicki track well one of them is the lesser known ''autobiography'' it is really deep and meaningful and her verse on Drakes ''All night'' absoloutley kills it, I have so many of her mixtapes but can't wait for Pink Friday and the official album from her!
