Thought the RIP Amy winehouse post would be the only 'RIP' post i'd be doing, but sadly whilst finishing a shoot today got some bad news that my cat had been run over and sadly died. I had a bad feeling when he wasn't waiting for his food this morning like usual but he sometimes stays out late so didn't worry too much, from what our neighbours said it was the early hours of this morning, I haven't seen him as someone called the council to take him out the road before we had been told.
Anyone that knows me knows how attatched I was and how important he was (along with our younger kitty) he always brightened up my day and made me smile, and I am v upset so might not be blogging for a few days.
He had only just gone 2 and I always wanted him to be an indoor cat as I was so worried this would happen but he liked to go out too much and would have just been unhappy indoors 24/7
RIP Baby (or 'babies' as he always got called)

ReplyDeletethis is really sad! i feel so upset for you. i have 2 cats and i am really really attached to them, i'd be absolutely distraught if that happened to me. mine have both just turned 4. 1 doesn't leave my garden and the other likes to adventure. i live on a main road and i worry about him so much! i shut them in at night so i know they're safe and try to check where they are as much as possible. i've always wanted them to be indoor cats but i can't stop them from going out. my biggest fear is for them to get run over. i love animals and worry about anything being ran over! 'babies' was one lucky kitty to have someone so caring and loving looking after him! xxxx
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that : - (
ReplyDeleteI have 2 cats so can imagine how heartbroken you're feeling... *big hug*
