a little My H&M haul

Yay so I ordered some things off H&M site thanks for the lovely Jessica as she posted some discount codes up on her blog for £15 off that I HAD to take advantage of! I also went to H&M the week before as I was in Leeds (my town doesn't have an H&M yet how crap although one is been built yay!) so I have a few items to show you!

First up this Leopard print dress £9.99 I wore it HERE I love this it looks fab, love how it can be a daytime OR a nightime dress

Then this Lace cropped vest this was on promo on the H&M site for £2.99 also available in black and a nude colour but I have a similar black one and didn't have much the other colour would match with

This Animal print cardigan in the sale online for around £8 and the black lace cami under it was about £4, I wanted a plain black cardigan but all were out of stock BUT I do love animal print so much so had to get this

In this photo is the same black cami top and these animal print harem trousers which were around £10 they have cute little zips at the bottom

I had to have this Striped vest dress £7.99 after I saw a few people around wearing it when the weather was reall warm as this is perfect for summer with a denim jacket and flip flops

Beige leggings £7.99 I have wanted some light colour leggings for ages and had my eye on some camel colour ones in River Island but then I saw these and thought they would look great in summer/spring instead of black

I also got a skirt but haven't photographed it but am going to be wearing it next time im out so i'll get a picture then and add it here its lovely :)

I didn't get no acessories or other bits which im dissapointed about but I was in a rush when ordering online and a few things I saw weren't in stock

So theres my little H&M haul! I have never been into H&M really as like I said we don't have one in our town so I haven't ever really had chance to get into it, but now they do online shopping and and soon my towns H&M will be built I am loving it, the thing I love the most is the fit/sizing of the clothes, they also fit so well without been too tight especially the skirts and dresses. Plus the leggings I got are a really good quality material unlike most of mine (shame on you primark LOL)

I have a few more bits I want to get my hands on so I might be doing another H&M haul soon although I need to start saving my pennies :)

New stuff :) Rimmel Red Lipstick and W7 Gel Liner Review.....and a miracle spot cure?!

So this post is mainly about 2 products my PERFECT red lipstick and my first gel eyeliner I picked up,

I'll start off with the lipstick, it's Rimmel Moisture Renew in 'Rose Passion (80)' and this is the first moisture renew lipstick I have tried from Rimmel but in general I love Rimmel as a company and for products, I love this one also because it comes in a purple metallic casing which is so pretty,
Excuse my chipped nail polish in the pics it was just before I changed it LOL (yes it really was haha).....anyway this applies so creamy and soft and it really is moistourising not only that but the main plus is its LONG WEARING! It does slightly stain the lips when you try to remove it but I can't express what a bright colour it is, it is a vibrant (orange toned) red and I do mean v-i-b-r-a-n-t LOL I did find it abit overpowering to wear at first but if you team it with neutral eyes it looks very eyecatching and pretty here's a swatch:
I would highly recommend these im not sure if these are no discountinued as I got mine in a discount shop but I have had a look online and plenty of sites have this available so if you are a similar colourings to me and looking for that perfect red I strongly recommend this, I took some snaps of me wearing it too.....

So next up is the gel eyeliner it's 'W7 Paint the Line' that I got I have never tried gel liner always wanted to get the maybelline one EVERYOOOOOONE raves about buy every time i'm in my superdrug I do not see it LOL so I spotted this yesterday and as it was only a couple of pounds I picked it up, when I got home I realised it was probably cheaper than usual as it was 'black/glitter' not just 'black' but when on and swatched it actually isn't glittery which is a good thing for me but a bad thing for people that bought it and may have wanted the glitter :-s

Now with it you get a brush, the brush actually isn't terrible but it isn't the best or great, the gel itself I found not to be very pigmented, I often apply black eyeshadow as liner using an angled brush for a softer look than liquid and when you put this gel liner over that it looks quite good (im wearing it in the above pic of me wearing the Rimmel lipstick) but that is just an added hassle, I wouldn't really recommend it for people wanting a good quality every day decent gel eyeliner but it was great for a newbie to gel eyeliners like me to make sure I could apply it decently and get a feel for it, so I now am definatley going to buy a better gel liner BUT one thing I can say about this (when worn over the eye shadow like I mentioned) is it LASTS, I had a 6hr shoot yesterday I put it on around midday and I didn't get home until like 11pm and had been in a absoloutley boiling room full of heavy studio lights and it didn't run or really budge so I do give it a big thumbs up for that,
You can even see from the top swatch it isn't strongly pigmented and I would have preferred an angled brush as thats so much easier for creating cat-eye eyeliner flicks, but who am I to complain LOL

Whilst I was in town I picked up a new pink polka dot make up bag just for my handbag as my other one was abit grubby looking and I was bored of it and also got some Sudocrem (nappy rash cream LOL) as I read Cheryl Cole uses this as a spot miracle cure and then I saw an interview with some of the girls from 'The only way is essex' (TV show) and they also said they were using it and slathering it on their faces before bed and apparentley you wake up with fantastic skin but to be honest I have been trying this for a few days and the first day I had no spots to start with and when I woke up had a few very little ones so thats not good but I am going to persevere and see what happens, I shall keep you updated :)

On another note I FINALLY got my new camcorder today im so exicted I can finally make proper youtube make up vids and stuff instead of using my webcam and been really constricted to what I could film.....so expect some new vids over the weekend, I have done a few before but there's only a few (do subscribe to my channel though on www.youtube.com/vikkigabrielle then you will get my updates I hope to have some done over the weekend)

Xmas Gifts!

So hope you all had a lovely Christmas I thought id share some of my lovely gifts, I got some clothes and usual stuff like PJs, dressing gown, slippers etc but I thought i'd leave them all out, I can show the clothes in some OOTD (outfit of the day) posts soon, The rest was just shoes, bags and makeup LOL. I didn't take any pics of me or xmas FOTD, OOTD or whatever else as Xmas for me in a small affair and I stayed in my PJs and make-up free all day. Anyway here goes my gifts!

This cream faux fur River Island bag was one of my faves it has a lovely studded handle too and feels so soft and glam, the lining is such a beautiful royal blue colour ooooh i absoloutley love it!
Next is the sequinned-y rouched black clutch bag, I love simple black clutch bags as they go with everything on nights out so this is great, it is fairly big too

This is a bag I will probably use fairly often for daytime, its simple but chic and I do love anything leopard lol.

Black strappy shoes I go through black shoes like crazy the amounts I have but these are more strappier than I would normally go so something different and sure they will get worn lots
Cream suede lace up shoe-y boot things, I will prob wear these in the day with jeggings to glam up abit, they feel quite comfortable and I really really really  love lace up heels
Cut out shoe boots (suede) I will get so much wear out of these as the heel is so low so they will be comfortable i hope! They're just a bit higher than ankle length and I like the cutout detail and leopard print insides
Gold studded purese, the studs on this are really big and spiky, I love changing my purse (or wallett LOL) so this will look cute even if it will be empty after I have spent such a bomb at chrismas LOL.
31  piece brush set! I don't want to go into too much detail about these as I want to do a whole new post on reviewing them sometime in the next week or so, so look out for that.
And again with this Ed Hardy Make up pallette set I also want to do a seperate post which I will probabaly do when I do the brush one.

This was the cute card I got my mum who bought me all these items (plus many more bless her) I got her a gold bracelet, Beyonce Heat perfume and a few other bits of clothes)

To finish off here is Babies my big cat and Kyla my baby kitten both tucking into the treats from their stocking! They are slowly getting used to each other, a month later! Babies has been used to been a 'Only cat' for so long so now he has a sister he's having to get his head around it all ha ha ha!

Anyway presents aren't whats important for Christmas it's family but I thought I would share a few of my bits with you

A RANT! About pretty much yesterdays post!

Yesterday if you read I did a post on my new aviator jacket which is this post http://vikki-gabrielleworld.blogspot.com/2010/12/my-50p-and-25-bargain-lol-plus-festive.html

Well to cut a long story short today I wore my jacket and the boots I mentioned in that above post that I said went with it to go shopping in another town, so starting with the coat, it started off well kept me warm, looked nice and then as I was paying for something I went to open my bag and WHAT THE HELL is on my bag, why is it all dirty?!!?! No no no thats not dirt thats DYE!!!! Yes you guessed it.....from my new avaiator jacket :-(

My bag looks ok from the front (click all pics to enlarge):

This is just a random bag i've had a few years but I always really liked it as it is made out of a sort of alligator feeling material and it goes with alot and it is actually beige not pale cream or white like the pic thats just the flash washing it out......

Now this is the damage:

Thats the back where it's been on my shoulder and rubbing on my side as I walked

and then:

where i've circled in red (even though im sure you can see) is the underside of the strap where it has stained a bluey colour! It wasn't even wet or raining or anything for the dye to transfer, The only thing I am happy about is I was actually going to take another beige bag I had which is a Fiorelli one and cost me like £60 this bag above cost less than £10 i think and i've had this ages whereas the other I haven't had as long but STILL!!!!! I am so not happy with this, I am actually wishing I never bought the coat now even though I do like it.

And onto the boots, these are the actual boots as i didn't put a pic in yesterday but just taken one,

I wanted some flat boots to wear with leggings and to be COMFORTABLE not in heels (ha how ironic as you will soon see!) and these were only like £15 and liked the chain detailing, so I wore these from my house to an appointment I had before I went shopping (a walk that took me like 20min) then when I was sat in my appointment for about 25mins even though I was sat down I could feel these were very uncomfortable and rubbing me, then I went to the train station like a 10min walk away feet still hurting, and got off did my shopping and could handle them been uncomfortable just thought it was due to it been the 2nd time i wore them (the first they weren't on long at all) but after about 2hrs I gave in as I could barely walk anymore and went to buy some more shoes, I had finished my shopping in Primark the hour before but went back as that was the cheapest place I could think of and I was kinda glad they hurt my feet as I went back and got a bargain for £4 some funky wedge shoe/boots type things:

BARGAIN £4!! Reduced from £15 I saw these a few week ago and liked them too but didn't obvs get them, well I wore these for like the remaining time and after changing into them saw 2 nice big blisters on the back of my heels but at least the heel was cut out of these so could let my blistered heels breathe (hope no-one was watching my heels though ewww LOL) and so off I skipped in comfort.........well so I thought by the time I got the train home a couple of hours later I again could barely walk! Worse this time cos these also had a wedge and open peep toe to go with it, so took them off ASAP when I got home and I now have a total of 4 blisters - the 2 original ones on my heels, and 2 on my little toes and side of my foot from where the sides of the peep toe part on these have rubbed me :- (

I am FED UP! I kinda don't blame the shoes as both were new an I was doing alot of walking being the shopaholic I am LOL but the jacket and my poor bag has made me soooooo MAD! GRRRRRRRR, Do I just need to stop shopping at Primark?!

Vikki xoxoxo

EDIT: I actually ended up complaining to Primark a week after this post(my mum did on my behalf actually LOL) and they gave me a full refund for my coat and let me choose a bag of theres for free which was very good of them as I didn't expect it at all! I was just going to keep the jacket but my mum knows me too well and knows i would have probabaly never worn it again and just wasted the money so yaaaay for my mum! They are also going to investigate why it leaked the dye so we shall see what they say! And no I haven't wore either shoes again yet im too scared ha ha ha.

A kind of FOTD! Sleek Bad Girl pallette again and Rubbish No7 Foundation!

Soooo whilst I was snowed in I have been makeup free, today I decided to put some on for the hell of it, and used my bad girl Sleek pallette, this isn't really a tutorial or 'look' as I didn't get many pics and espesh ones that are clear I just thought i'd share! I love the Bad Girl pallette I speak about it often enough and I only have used the silvers and the black really before so for this look used still those colours to start with but then added the smokey purpley/blue 'Obnoxious'.

Basically I used the 3rd shadow BLADE (2nd circled one) all over really, then the 5th one UNDERGROUND (3rd circled) on the lid then the 9th OBNOXIOUS (bottom row circled) blended from the outer corners all the way to the brow, I then just added the 6th one NOIR (4th circled) just on the corners and on my waterline as a liner and finally the 2nd one GULLIBLE (1st circled) as abit of highlighter just for under the brow area

I kept my lips nude I just used a light baby pink sheer gloss (the Rimmel Jelly one I mentioned in my previous mini haul post) and just a sweep of some random 'Sunkissed' bronzer I got in a gift set, luckily you can't tell on thes photos but I HATE the foundation I have on it goes on so patchy and streaky, and just feels and looks dreadful it is No7 Stay Perfect in shade 'Tan', ''Stay Perfect'' this couldn't be a more ironic name for this! Never again of course it didn't help how orangey and dark the shade tan actually is, they had no samples so I just took it from the look of the bottle......silly me!!!

It has put me off No7 now, even though I actually don't like it much to be honest, I like their lip products and did like the mosiac bronzer (but it kept breaking and for £12.50?!), but this foundation blerugh and I also tried a black eye pencil and it was really hard to work with and dragged my skin, ohh I do quite like their nail polishes too though I have a couple of those, and I do LOVE it when Boots frequentley give the £5 off No7/Ruby & Millie vouchers,

Ohh not forgetting mascara I didn't bother with much as it was just a little play around, so just did a quick sweep of the ModelCo Lashcara one (would't repurchase this, don't hate it or love it its just OK! Got it on TK Maxx for £5 as it had an RRP of something like £18 on so I just assumed it would be good when will I learn it has a funny wand like no brush just a rounded stick! Anywaaaaaaay........

A mini haul and complain LOL

Just a few bits and bats pleeease excuse the webcam pics (its a high quality cam at least LOL) my camera has no batt!

So I recentley tried this amazing stuff -
HOW good does this smell yummm I love it, I got it for £3.49 in superdrug, it's so moistourising and adds just a tiny hint of colour, I got it in 947 pink cadillac.

I also got this Rimmel royal jelly gloss this is a really baby pink the camera wouldn't pick it up that well

mines shade 221 Sweet Lust these also smell and taste sooooo sugary sweet oh god im hungry now LOL, its a really sheer pink gloss but good for natural looking lips with some shine!

Above is another colour I got in the gloss it is 081 Candy Rush and this is red and adds more of a pop of colour, but it's still a sheer red and obvs glossy so easy to wear in the day, I highly recommend these

Next up is the MUA powder, I find this abit cakey and dissapointing as i love the lipsticks and for £1 too such great value so I wouldn't use again, it just feels really cheap. Still gonna try some more MUA stuff though I have faith yet!
Now this hot pink Bourjois Eau de Gloss in shade 16, this promises 4hr moistourisation and gloss it is sheer to say the color looks bright and intenser has a little brush applicator thats really small so im not a fan of that but the gloss itself is ok, haven't yet tried the 4hr promise though! I will let you know LOL

And these Olay 'gentle' cleansing wipes are upsetting me! they are sooo good for taking my make up off inc really stuck on mascara BUT they make my skin really dry! I don't want to believe it but I am going to have to the next day my skin was sore and irritated around my eyes too, :-(

Keeping on trend with Olay I also have started using this after hearing seriously RAVE reviews, I do like it, but again when I stop using it my skin gets dry (which never happened before) I don't know if it's just me, the wipes, this, or Olay!!!!!! I am going to keep on with this as it is good and it's so cheap for £4ish, There is a sensitive one but I read one blogger say thats actually more harsh! This is the normal/dry/combo one

Only a little post, it's not really a haul also got 2 new nail polishes - NYC nail glossies in 241 a lovely ocean greeny blue colour and Bourjois very vernis in 73 Rose virtuel a shimmery pinky colour with gold glitter bits in, I will do NOTD posts with both these soon!

Choosing a dress for Liverpool!

Ok so I am going blog happy today!! But its the weekend soon and I shall be resting LOL! Anyway tomorrow me and ash are going on a night out in Liverpool, its a coach trip with like 40 people all from our hometown that we got invited to by a lovely friend we know lynz who's bday it was this week, I don't know many people but sure I will recognise most seen as its so small around here! Anyway either way it should be a good night, I've been to Liverpool a few times before for shoots and stuff but not on a night out!

Soooooooo as this is a late thing and I only got told of it yesterday I wanted a special dress AKA something new, any excuse I know, I do have a few new stuff, but nothing 'liverpool' style hahahah, I shall take lots of pics but the dress dilemma was something me and my mum solved in town earlier

As with all my pics click to enlarge

1) This chiffony pale pink tiered dress I loved! It was just slightly baggy at the back and ash hated it! Men and fashion LOL! It was a bargain £10 in the sale at a UK clothes shop called magenta, think they have a website

2)The lovely leopard print was what I loved most, it was £15 also from magenta the only problem was the straps felt like seatbelts and were quite uncomfortable plus it was abit short

3)I BOUGHT!!!!!! I LOVE IT! This dress is Parisian Limited Edition and I wanted it last year when it was slightly different and salmon pink for £25 but then they sold out and now months later if not a year later its back on omg LOVEEEE!! I can't wait to wear it with big bouncy hair, smokey eyed makeup and sky high shoes! I feel like a princess with all the sequinned bra bit it really is so much more pretty in real life, I am so happy! Bargain too

4)This red number was £12.99 I love bargain shopping it was actually nice, nothing to complain over, it just wasn't proper WOW! I'd wear it happily for a night out though and would wear it and feel good in it, it fit quite nice this was from a clothes shop called Missy which is an independent store but alot of independent retailers do this dress I have noticed, think its a River Island dupe from what I was told!

Anyway thought I would share my outfit choice before my night out tomorrow, going to charge my camera to make sure I can fill you all in on the coach trip and night out action! Big yaaay
