So if you follow me on twitter (@vikki_model) you will know im abit of a quote/philosopy obsessive I think theres so many quotes or saying that can always relate to what you're going through whether it be love, heartbreak, friend troubles etc and alot of quotes make you think deeper into life and think about your actions more,one of my favourites its 'Beauty/Popularity fades but morals, values and soul will always be the most important beautiful part of a woman' and I think this is sooo true because theres so many pretty/rich/popular people out there that are just 'that' you know what I mean? Like absoloutley no substance to them, Im not a perfect person in ANY way shape or form, but I know deep down im a good person and regardless of race, age, gender, sexuality or anything if you're nice to me I'll be nice to you, Im a total girls girl (I treat my girls with love whether we're close friends or not I would never be one of them girls who got caught stealing someones man for example! LOL) I hate 2 faced, backstabbing people, Im only young but because of certain things I have been through I think im wiser than my years anyone in this world has the power to hurt us but as I have grown up I have realised DONT LET OTHER PEOPLES MISTAKES HURT YOU....I know this is easier than said but why get upset because someone has treated YOU wrong.....cos thats shame on THEM not YOU so THEY should feel bad, Karma is my favourite word in the world......anyway I thought i'd share a few of my fave quotes....Enjoy :)

According to Cosmopolitan magazine 'Where you live could determine your favourite shade' says Estee Lauder's creative make up director Tom Pecheux.....

UK - We apparentley love rosy shades
Americans - Love their nudes
Italians - Adore browny-orange shades
French - love their red colours
Germans - have a love for frosty pinks
Japanese - Love sheer pinks and lavenders

I know this is only 6 nationalities but hey ho blame Cosmopolitan magazine.......At first i was like pssssssshhhh stereotypical much but then I had a look through some my photos and turns out I am really fond of rosy shades haha! how weird...I have a Revlon Colorstay lipcolour I love but I cant tell you the shade as it has wore off *useless* lol, Im not taking this serious as obviously different ethnicities will suit different shades and different personalities will prefer different shades but god knows where they did their research, I proved im just a stereotype ha ha ha

I blummin deffo need to do a lipstick haul....Which for the record I am needing MAC's 'Impassioned' (gorgeous watermelon shade) 'Candy Yum Yum' (bright pink from the new collection) 'Girl About Town' (lovely purple toned fuschia) and 'Angel' (fab light nudey colour)......maybe 'Ruby Woo' (a fiery red) too.

RIP FACEBOOK!

Ok so my facebook account has been randomly disabled *sigh* this happened to my old one I had for years like a year ago and I lost everyone then I made this one in April last year and just under a year later it has the same fate!

Last time I got no warning at all and because I didn't have access to the email account I registered it with I couldn't get it back, this time I got a few photo warnings

NOW can I just point out facebook photo warnings are meant to be for violating the rules with pics of NUDITY/OBSCENITY/ basically offensive stuff now I don't understand this as I certainly would hardly have naked images or explicit images on facebook and I am the most inoffensive person ever, now with models and photographers a common occurence is they get accounts deleted and photo warnings quite alot due to facebook seemingly seeing PROFESSIONAL lingerie/bikini images as offensive! As when people have these images up if they're on holiday inn a bikini they don't get deleted why should I just because mine are professional images? Nowhere in the terms/conditions does it say anything about certain images just nudity/obscentiy and seriously in 2011 is bikini wear NUDITY or OBSCENITY? Hell no.

A main reason why you get these warning is because someone has clicked on the report button so one of my 'friends' has clearly reported 8 of my pictures (like i said I dont even have ONE naked/obscene/offensive image never mind EIGHT!) and subsequetley my account has gone!

When this happened last time I won't lie I found the person dealing with my emails really rude, one of them 'Our-answer-is-final' type of people and they wouldn't explain or listen as to why their rules and the deleting of my account made no sense whatsoever so im dreading having to email them again to try get this account back, I have nearly 1500 friends alot mainly contacts such as photographers, so if I have to start again I will lose a big proportion as my memory isn't freakin magic!

I am soooooooooooooo annoyed that someone would have had to be on my friends list to obviously report my pics as otherwise you can't see them I mean WTF who is sad/pathetic/hateful enough to do that!

All I have to say is what goes around comes aroud......you do bad things > u give off bad energy > it comes back 10x on you

So if that person happens to ever check my blog I hope they see and realise that!

Anywaaaaaaaaaay went to see about a HD camcorder today so I can start filming proper youtube vids instead of just tryna use my computer and webcam which to be fair is a good quality expensive one but never the less when recording its still clearly a webcam and just makes filming difficult, so the one I got isn't anything majorly fancy or special its a 'Flip Ultra HD' I have seen lots of demos of this and heard so many reviews and seen other youtubers use it so im really looking forward to getting started with it! You will have to bear with me as I have a busy week so prob won't get to play until the weekend

Anywaaaaaaay the point of this ridic long post it to basically say to any followers who have me on facebook I haven't deleted you or anything fingers crossed I will be back on the same account I will let you know and in the meantime TWITTER ME

Ramblings.....blah blah LOL :)

I've been absent for a few days in case you didn't notice LOL as I have abit of 'bloggers block' and really don't know what to blog about alately, I haven't been buying as much make up as I have been staying away from town and then my usual fave online outlets haven't had anything in thats caught my eye BUUUUT I have bought one thing online which is an eye primer and should be arriving in the next few days so im going to do a full review then as I haven't seen no other blogger mention this one (So no its not UDPP or the Too faced one if thats a little clue hahah)

One thing I am looking for is a new eyebrow definer I use the Rimmel Pro pencil at the moment but just testing the water on other ones even though I do like that im just getting bored so send the suggestions!

I picked up some MUA stuff well a eye pigment that was quite nice number 6 a plum smokey colour which was quite pigmented too so for £1 I recommend that unfortunatley because im silly I can't find it to photograph and some glitter eyeliners on my hand I tested them all apart from the black liner which was just their standard black liquid liner that looked so watery and crap, The liquid eyeliners have a really faffy cheap bendy nib that I do not like AT ALL! and you can see the purple and silver barely show up I have tried my best to do an eye look with them and failed soooooo bad they are in one word: SH!T :) The only one that looks like it might be decent is the turqouse one, I dont know if you can see but between the purple and silver line on my hand I tried a navy blue one and look how pointless that was! As far as glitter eyeliners I wasn't a fan anyway but thought i'd give them a go, I did used to use the BeautyUK ones when I was younger and they were ok and cheap too so if you want a glitter fix I recommend them or Barry M. Im just giving up!

Soooo not a very productive month! One thing I got that I am loving is this marily Monroe Vest which has a diamante 'M'  on and Marilyn looking as beautiful as ever from Primark a bargain £8 my mum bought me I love the pinky nude colour too lovely for summer and I also got a standard denim jacket just to wear now it's coming summer think it was £16-ish as the UK has them awkward days most of summer, like its too warm to wear a proper coat but too cold for none so a denim jacket is ideal and on colder days I can layer it up)

I am going to start doing some OOTD posts soon as I never do and haven't done a NOTD post in soooo long but to give myself credit I did do my top nail polishes video (check it out futher down my blog or at my youtbue channel www.youtube.com/vikkigabrielle if you want to know my 10 faves) Im wearing an old fave at the moment Sleek Nailed in 'Bare' a gorgeous nude

A thing I have spent some money on this month is VITAMINS! im on a vitamin hype at the moment, don't ask why, so I have 5diff ones im currentley taking and hopefully I might see a general improvement in my whole 'being' soon! Usually I take them for like a month and then get bored so lets see how long this lasts as I don't do routine but my nails are looking abit crap so it might hopefully improve them and Im lucky my skin is actually behaving and as been spot free for aaaaaaaages now, what vitamins are all you ladies on I hope im taking the right ones LOL!? :-s

Soooo as im making pancakes today (2days after pancake day im such a rebel!) and this could go terrible wrong e.g house burns down as I have never made pancakes myself and I am abi of a novice in the kitchen! So i'll be back soon hopefully with my house still here and with my eye primer review :)

P.S I have just started watching The Bad Girls Club and omg what DRAMA! who else watches it whos your fave? If you can have a favourite out of all them crazy girls haha

1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup? umm about 14/15

2. How did you get into makeup? One of my earlist memories is seeing my late grandmother who was so glamorous putting on lipstick daily and then like little girls do got toy make-up and it went from there

3. What are some of your favorite brands? Rimmel for value and great quality as is L'oreal & Maybelline too, also Sleek for pallettes and nail polishes and Barry M......I also wish the UK did NYX ohh I could be here allday

4. What does makeup mean to you? I love it, it makes me feel glamorous and is like a hobby I love playing around with

5. If you could only wear 4 products on your face what would they be? foundation, eyebrow pencil, mascara, lipgloss/stick

6. What is your favorite thing about makeup? That it can transform you & make you feel/look so different

7. What do you think about drugstore makeup vs high end makeup? I prefer drugstore makeup, because alot of products I find are better or ad good as expensive ones......plus then you can afford twice as much & experiment more

HAIR ACCESSORIES/CURLS

Now its coming summer it means we can take off them winter hats and get the cool hair acessories out,

Anyway in the above pic I have some really cool hair acessories I picked up the first is a wire bendy headband which basically is a headband with wire in that you can twist to make shapes it was £1.50 and the blonde hair is my mums that I made model it for me whilst I took a pic ha ha, the next pic is 2 medium sized gold claw clips with floral patterns on that I thought will be good for just clipping my hair up in warmer weather (modelled by mums head again) also £1.50

Next modelled by myself is this floral/3 flower coral headband that I adore and a bargain £2!! I can't wait until it gets warmer to wear it for that boho feel I think it will look fab on warm summer days, as Tresemme Instant refresh dry shampoo is also half price in Superdrug at the moment (around £2.40ish) I thought I would try some to compare with trusty Batiste, Now this is ok but I don't think it does the job aswell as Batiste as that seems to add more volume whereas this just sat on my hair and left abit of residue I don't know if I need to give it another go as it was my first time using it so maybe it's just my hair been silly, but for that price might aswell try it out, i've heard rave reviews from other bloggers so time will tell....here's what it looks like, sorry for the crappy pics on my blackberry

I am going natural with my hair for a few weeks as it's really started to grow quite long

 Above you can click to enlarge and kind of see my hair story in the BEFORE (2007) it was a light brown actually had blonde hightlights but very fine ones and it had been like this for a few years before then it was just my natural very dark brown, and you can see it's farily long and then in the bottom pic I dyed it black (which I hated at first) THEN Victoria Beckham and Rihanna cut their hair off so taking inspiration from the Rihanna Umberella video I chopped off mine as I wanted a change and thought frig it so did it thats the AFTER pic it was actually mid 2007 I cut it off but stuck with it through 2008 where I cut it again and 2009 it was growing here you can see still black and short, I had one relapse in 2009 when I dyed it brown but it didn't take too well even though the hairdresser stripped my hair so after a few months I went black and now I do love my black hair and so I haven't been majorly cutting it and here I am naturally fairly long again YAY! 

Its actually abit longer than that pic now but I want it Kim Kardashian long (even though hers isn't all real!) and so I don't want to keep damaging it with heat from my straightners, it's in pretty good condition and I only usually straighten my hair 3 times a week max but prevention is better than the cure, Naturally its thick and hard to cope with but im just going to start emphasising the natural curl of it and hope for the best LOL it looks similar to this apart from this is a pic from a photoshoot and not natural as I curled it with a curler

Im gonna invest in some Boots Essential curl creme that I have heard rave reviews about any other curl products I need to know about then do let me know! I shall be taking some Curl Inspiration from these lovelys.....

Random BLAH day LOL

Yesterday I plucked my eyebrows took too much off now they're shorter than I like and me and ash have had a good laugh about it (ha frickin ha!) he finds it immensely hilarious I find it devastating to the point of I want to hide under the duvet but I got my eyebrow pencil out and soldiered  so glad I can fill my eyebrows in decently hahahahahah I need to laugh otherwise i'll cry

I then was going to do a gold eye and red lip tutorial I should have known it was jinxed when my camera fell over 5mins into the first attempt and I had to start again, 11mins later the video looks shit with a capital S, I know my videos aren't the best at the moment as im new but this was an exception, so I hit the delete button for that and resisted the urge to go back to bed LOL.

In other news I had a fab weekend but im going to do a seperate post on that when I get the pics off my friends as im too useless to actually ever pull my camera out my bag!

At the moment im loving the high top bun look....Lauren Conrad I need your hair.....thanks, I also stole your pose to match :-) 

After taking my bun down I had a slightly wavy high ponytail which I actually also quite liked too

I have also decided to get fit (saying this less than a hour after I just got a big tin of Roses chocolates) and going healthy so first thing to go was white bread! See ya white bad bread and hello wholegrain good bread! I want a belly like this again:

Not that im saying im fat as I in no way think that, im not one of them girls with major body issues partly because a) It doesn't change them and b) Everyone has bits they don't like you just have to learn to love them, believe me theres plenty of imperfections on me but I am thankful enough that im just happy and healthy so I don't dwell, I used to when I was much younger then I met Ash and he made me realise body image really isn't that major! People love you because of you as a person not your weight or looks! I never diet because I don't necessarily want to lose weight I just want to tone my abs and stop the bloat I always seem to get after eating stuff like bread and carbs.

See it's all about LOVE!

Im Reading.....

 So I bought two new books yesterday as I love reading I always have been the bookworm of my family, I used to beg my mum when I was little to take me to the library on a weekend and getting 5-6 books out at a time used to be so exciting for me! And I have read quite a few books since I grew up but focused more on celeb autobiographies or magazines, such as gossip rags and whatever else and they're all cool and juicy and stuff but I wanted to read a few books (although I did recently read one called HEART TO HEART by Pea Horsley about a lady that's like a real life Animal communicator if you're an animal lover like me you will love it and full of different stories and it made me cry so much, theres stories on here curing animals, finding them by connecting with them when they have gone missing and can also connect with them once they have passed away, I know this may sound slightly crazy as when I told Ash he thought I was talking nonsense but im really into spiritual stuff like this she also runs workshops check out her site http://www.animalthoughts.com/.) Anyway back to the point the new books I got yesterday are 'Lessons of a lipstick Queen' by Poppy King and 'Pop Tart' By Kira Coplin and Julianne Kaye.

Lessons of a lipstick queen is basically about an entrepeneur named Poppy King who created her own lipstick brand at the age of 18 called poppy industries and this book is sort of her adventure and and kind of a motivational type of book with lots of tips for people who are wanting to maybe do something similar or just improve and be a better buisness person in general one of the main statements is ''IF AN EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD GIRLS SEARCH FOR THE IDEAL MATTE LIPSTICK CAN TURN INTO A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR COMPANY, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE'' and I love that! I mean all us beauty bloggers can relate to this as how many 'ideal' products have you wanted and not been able to find? Well she turned that into her fortune and this book like I said follows that so I am definatley looking forward to reading it her site by the way is http://lipstickqueen.com/ and her line of lipsticks is available in places like Barneys in the US and quite a few more places and in the UK in Space NK, you can find all this out on the site, they definatley look fabulous and its an adorable site! I might have to try one, People in the US you can shop online too (there is lipstick and lipgloss around $18-$20 USD)

Next up we have the 'Pop Tart' one this is about a young make up artist (Jackie) that has always dreamed of making it big in Hollywood then she meets a 16year old pop starlet called Brooke (who is apparently loosely based on Britney Spears) and basically gets her wish until she sees fame has its downside when Brooke starts to rebel and begins to fall apart (like how Britneys career did) taking Jackie with her and its basically Jackies friendship with Brooke put to the test, can Jackie save them both or will she be just another casualty of Brooke's insatiable appetite for fame? This apparently will captivate fans of 'The devil wears prada' and I adored that book and film so had to check this out, it is also similar to the fictional books Lauren Conrad writes which I STILL need to check out!

Both of these books are available on places like Ebay or Amazon theres lots of info on google, I bought mine both on sale in a random bookshop in my town.

Once I read them I will do an updated post and let you all know how I got on!

CHEAP BRANDS MAKE UP! @ www.fragrancedirect.co.uk

Just been doing a little online shopping and thought I would share this site with you, www.fragrancedirect.co.uk it is a UK based site its £1.95 for UK delivery and it does ship worldwide you just need to check the site for prices, I have ordered twice before off this site and both times delivery was fast and packaged well, I ordered a few cosmetics the first time and the second time the New Beyonce HEAT perfume which it had at the cheapest price I could find after browsing around,

This site offers items like Rimmel Lipsticks from £1, L'oreal mascaras for £3-£5, l'oreal eyeshadows from £1,  Bourjois nail polishes and blushes for like £1.50, it even has some Urban Decay eyeshadows and lipsticks for around £3 I think they were and also a few NYX products which are usually hard to get hold of in the UK, plus the legendary St moritz fake tan and some fab Burts Bees products.

The only problem with the site is that the colour charts are nowhere near a good representation of what shades to buy so I always have to google them see if I can find better swatches as the site only has one main image in one shade of products usually and the next is that sometime the choice of colours is minimal or less popular ones (such as white and silver EYEBROW pencils?!!?!) So if you have enough patience to research the products to get a good representation of them then go for it, I have just gone through all the categories in the cosmetics side of the site and it's took me a good few hours!


But it is great because for like around £20 you can get 4 rimmel lipsticks, 3 bourjois blushers, a l'oreal mascara, a couple of nail polishes and some eyeshadows for example when in a standard drugstore you would probabaly only get 1 mascara, 1 lipstick and 1 blush!

I LOVE this site, I did come across another but then I saw some bad reviews on it so it really put me off but like I said I have 2 posotive experiences already from this site (PLEASE do note I am not involved or affiliated with this company it is something that I just thought I would share as it was something that made me happy to find and buy from!)

Also aswell as cosmetics as so many cheap branded perfumes for men also and gift sets and hair care (including some electrical appliances), and body stuff and skincare, etc.......the list goes on

So if you get some money over xmas or like me just are obsessed by make up and want some serious bargains go have a peek

A RANT! About pretty much yesterdays post!

Yesterday if you read I did a post on my new aviator jacket which is this post http://vikki-gabrielleworld.blogspot.com/2010/12/my-50p-and-25-bargain-lol-plus-festive.html

Well to cut a long story short today I wore my jacket and the boots I mentioned in that above post that I said went with it to go shopping in another town, so starting with the coat, it started off well kept me warm, looked nice and then as I was paying for something I went to open my bag and WHAT THE HELL is on my bag, why is it all dirty?!!?! No no no thats not dirt thats DYE!!!! Yes you guessed it.....from my new avaiator jacket :-(

My bag looks ok from the front (click all pics to enlarge):

 This is just a random bag i've had a few years but I always really liked it as it is made out of a sort of alligator feeling material and it goes with alot and it is actually beige not pale cream or white like the pic thats just the flash washing it out......

Now this is the damage:

where i've circled in red (even though im sure you can see) is the underside of the strap where it has stained a bluey colour! It wasn't even wet or raining or anything for the dye to transfer, The only thing I am happy about is I was actually going to take another beige bag I had which is a Fiorelli one and cost me like £60 this bag above cost less than £10 i think and i've had this ages whereas the other I haven't had as long but STILL!!!!! I am so not happy with this, I am actually wishing I never bought the coat now even though I do like it.

And onto the boots, these are the actual boots as i didn't put a pic in yesterday but just taken one,

 I wanted some flat boots to wear with leggings and to be COMFORTABLE not in heels (ha how ironic as you will soon see!) and these were only like £15 and liked the chain detailing, so I wore these from my house to an appointment I had before I went shopping (a walk that took me like 20min) then when I was sat in my appointment for about 25mins even though I was sat down I could feel these were very uncomfortable and rubbing me, then I went to the train station like a 10min walk away feet still hurting, and got off did my shopping and could handle them been uncomfortable just thought it was due to it been the 2nd time i wore them (the first they weren't on long at all) but after about 2hrs I gave in as I could barely walk anymore and went to buy some more shoes, I had finished my shopping in Primark the hour before but went back as that was the cheapest place I could think of and I was kinda glad they hurt my feet as I went back and got a bargain for £4 some funky wedge shoe/boots type things:

BARGAIN £4!! Reduced from £15 I saw these a few week ago and liked them too but didn't obvs get them, well I wore these for like the remaining time and after changing into them saw 2 nice big blisters on the back of my heels but at least the heel was cut out of these so could let my blistered heels breathe (hope no-one was watching my heels though ewww LOL) and so off I skipped in comfort.........well so I thought by the time I got the train home a couple of hours later I again could barely walk! Worse this time cos these also had a wedge and open peep toe to go with it, so took them off ASAP when I got home and I now have a total of 4 blisters - the 2 original ones on my heels, and 2 on my little toes and side of my foot from where the sides of the peep toe part on these have rubbed me :- (

I am FED UP! I kinda don't blame the shoes as both were new an I was doing alot of walking being the shopaholic I am LOL but the jacket and my poor bag has made me soooooo MAD! GRRRRRRRR, Do I just need to stop shopping at Primark?!

EDIT: I actually ended up complaining to Primark a week after this post(my mum did on my behalf actually LOL) and they gave me a full refund for my coat and let me choose a bag of theres for free which was very good of them as I didn't expect it at all! I was just going to keep the jacket but my mum knows me too well and knows i would have probabaly never worn it again and just wasted the money so yaaaay for my mum! They are also going to investigate why it leaked the dye so we shall see what they say! And no I haven't wore either shoes again yet im too scared ha ha ha.

I have combination skin. Not so much oily but can get dry in places

A 'Simple' one.....I love the simple brand as it's so gentle.

No I am going to start soon but my eyes are sooooo sensitive

Yes but I am guilty of not following this rule, I tend to judge on look and how it feels

I like L'oreal voluminious, Benefit Bad Gal, W7 Big Lash, Model&Co Lashcara

MAC as never been to sephora as im in the UK

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Fingers and some No7 brushes at the mo and pro ones i got in my beauty kit at beauty college! I am getting some new brushes for xmas a 32 piece pro set so looking forward to them

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
No I do want to try some though

-For the face?
No as above.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
ooooh this is hard! I do love the sleek pallettes, but then again use my Maybelline mono eyeshadow on a daily basis in Golden sand its sort of like a base for me as its perfect fleshy colour

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Both currently using Collection 2000 extreme 24hr felt tip liner, Rimml Kohl pencils and 2true's liquid eyeliner is fab

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Not often/Never that i can think of

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I do like them but I am so clumsy and they can get messy!

-Do you use mineral makeup?
No not really

-What is your favorite lipstick?
Was never much of a lipstick girl and used random brands like 17, bourjois, rimmel, haven't found a fave, currentley using a few MUA ones that I really actually like which surprised me as the range isn't the best, I have started to get into lippy now so saw loads at the weekend whilst browsing in superdrug that I want once I get my xmas shopping out the way!

-How about lipgloss?
L'oreal Glam shine love them!

-What is your favorite blush to use?
MAC's

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
No I bought the Manly pallette online thats all I can think of

I love it so much! Such great value, the quality these days is great and they do fab offers often and they're all so nicely packaged!

Never been

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Yes I would love to do that I did beauty therapy and never covered make up so really want to in 2011

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Not really im quite steady and ok

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Pencil thin drawn on brows, I have to pencil my brows as they are sparse in areas but never done the 'chola' style pencil thin brows

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I LOVE colours!

-Which celebrity always has great make up?
Kim Kardashian, Eva longoria, Cheryl Cole all go quite smokey eyed and sultry, Megan Fox is also very elegant and stunning, then I also like people like Rihanna and Nicki Minaj that really push the boundaries and experiement with bright bold colours

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?
Eyebrow pencil, perfect brows make me feel complete

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes I do it often if i'm just nipping to the shop or going to my mums

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I ldon't look like a totally different person or anything too bad LOOL but i definatley adore me made up!

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
MAC, but drugstore wise L'oreal is a good all rounder apart from I don't like their foundation, Revlon also would be a good one and they have good foundation

-What do you think of Makeup?
I love it! I love testing it, buying it, new trends, playing about, packaging, omg I could go on forever and ever. Fashion/Shoes/Bags and Make-Up i would happily spend all my money on

A kind of FOTD! Sleek Bad Girl pallette again and Rubbish No7 Foundation!

Soooo whilst I was snowed in I have been makeup free, today I decided to put some on for the hell of it, and used my bad girl Sleek pallette, this isn't really a tutorial or 'look' as I didn't get many pics and espesh ones that are clear I just thought i'd share! I love the Bad Girl pallette I speak about it often enough and I only have used the silvers and the black really before so for this look used still those colours to start with but then added the smokey purpley/blue 'Obnoxious'.

Basically I used the 3rd shadow BLADE (2nd circled one) all over really, then the 5th one UNDERGROUND (3rd circled) on the lid then the 9th OBNOXIOUS (bottom row circled) blended from the outer corners all the way to the brow, I then just added the 6th one NOIR (4th circled) just on the corners and on my waterline as a liner and finally the 2nd one GULLIBLE (1st circled) as abit of highlighter just for under the brow area

I kept my lips nude I just used a light baby pink sheer gloss (the Rimmel Jelly one I mentioned in my previous mini haul post) and just a sweep of some random 'Sunkissed' bronzer I got in a gift set, luckily you can't tell on thes photos but I HATE the foundation I have on it goes on so patchy and streaky, and just feels and looks dreadful it is No7 Stay Perfect in shade 'Tan', ''Stay Perfect'' this couldn't be a more ironic name for this! Never again of course it didn't help how orangey and dark the shade tan actually is, they had no samples so I just took it from the look of the bottle......silly me!!!

It has put me off No7 now, even though I actually don't like it much to be honest, I like their lip products and did like the mosiac bronzer (but it kept breaking and for £12.50?!), but this foundation blerugh and I also tried a black eye pencil and it was really hard to work with and dragged my skin, ohh I do quite like their nail polishes too though I have a couple of those, and I do LOVE it when Boots frequentley give the £5 off No7/Ruby & Millie vouchers,

Ohh not forgetting mascara I didn't bother with much as it was just a little play around, so just did a quick sweep of the ModelCo Lashcara one (would't repurchase this, don't hate it or love it its just OK! Got it on TK Maxx for £5 as it had an RRP of something like £18 on so I just assumed it would be good when will I learn it has a funny wand like no brush just a rounded stick! Anywaaaaaaay........

 WOW! Shower gel:  A mix of a coconut one with exfoloiating beads, dove soap, and a imperial leather cream one that I forgot the name of!

Styling products: Im so bad I use nothing on my hair! I  need some heat protector spray ideally I just hate the feeling of product in my hair! When i curl it or blow dry it use Lee Stafford Big hair volumising mousse and sometimes the Lee Stafford Salt spray to scrunch it

Body moisturiser: Cocoa Butter

Deodorant: Dove Roll on, Sure Girl in my handbag and Radox Daily Elements, i love the Sure Natural ones though!

Fake Tan: Swapped Fake bake for St Moritz now tan-free for abit

Foundation:. Rimmel 16hr Lasting Finish

Powder: Stopped using this for abit just got an M.U.A one to review

Things I am LOVING

Things I am loving at the moment:

*SLEEK MAKE-UP...I don't know where I have been hiding the last how long but I only bought my first sleek products a few month back (Started off with 'Bare' Nail polish and the Original Eye Pallette) my collection is now bordering on obsessive

*CHEAP MAKE-UP...Such as the fact my local poundland and poundworld are now stocking the odd bits and bats of makeup (for £1 obvs LOL) such as Rimmel eyeshadows/nail polishes/lipglosses aswell as a few bits of maybelline and N.Y.C yes theres not many colours and yes it's nothing overly exciting usually but its make-up for a POUND! Plus M.U.A @ Superdrug, ok the nail polishes I have a love/hate relationship with and only like 2-3 colours and the eyeshadows are pigmented ok but yes always break for some reason but the lipsticks for a pound I cannot complain, I just bought 2 new ones which i'm going to try out later and bought a powder so we shall see what they are saying!

*WINTER....Ok not the cold weather but omg we get to wear uggs (how cosy and comfy!?) and them adorable knitted headbands primark  have started doing. Plus theres the cutest gloves and scarves and hats around at the moment, and finally I also have THEE cutest chihuahua motif jumper to wear in winter.

*TEA....cup of good old tea with 3 sugars warms you right up in this horrible chilly weather

*HAIR....and the fact like a handful of people have recently asked if mines extensions proving its finally grown to a long decent length! (I got the pob or the 'Rihanna cut' from when she had bobbed hair in the umberella-elle-ella-eh days about 2-3yrs ago and loved it at the time then got sick of it being short and hard to handle)

*LEGGINGS....ok so I have been loving leggings for a long time but seriously what did people wear before these? I LIVE in them, from cropped, shiny, wetlook, flowery, studded, sequinned, diff coloured, jean types I have all styles it's crazy I just seen knitted ones so erm yep watch this space!!

*MUSIC....Nelly, Tinchy Stryder and Kanye West all have new albums out! Not to mention still loving my Giggs and Drake albums, I really cannot wait until Nicki Minaj brings out Pink Friday <3

*PHOTOS....I lost my camera for quite a while, thought i'd never see it again, then got it back and then nearly lost it again! I am  now cherishing it with my life and taking lots of piccies to put up on my blog so you don't all have to hear me go on and on like you are doing now with no interesting pics!

To fringe or to not?!

Well when I was younger I always had a fringe that I hated as this was the day before flat irons, and all the other styling tools and my thick hair was a nightmare!! I grew it out when I was about 13 and always had a sort of side fringe and then it kept growing and growing and grew out, occassionally I trimmed the sides so it would be a long side fringe again but then a few months back I hacked away bored one day and turned it into a full fringe, not a very thick one but still a real one LOL, Its now started growing so i've pushed it to the side and its a side fringe once again but at abit of an awkward stage as its not long enough to stay out my face completely and is driving me mad!

I cant decided whether to leave it and let it grow more......leave it let it grow abit more and then keep it trimmed as a side fringe.......or go for it and trim it all and put the full fringe back in?

Decisions decisions!!!

So you can see the first image is me with my hair clipped up at the back but with the 'side long fringe', the middle image is a cropped modelling pic with 'no fringe' and the 3rd last image is me the day after I cut the 'full fringe' in with my baby LOL who seems unimpressed by me haha!!

Aloha! My first post guys!

Hi everyone well this is my first post, I have decided to do a blog as I am always so excited to find new gossip/new music and new fashion/make-up items and tips soooooooooooooo I thought why not have a place to pop all these.....

I am Vikki, im 21 and I model full time, I love my boy, my friends, my family, and my baby AKA my cat LOL

I used to be a jeweller so I know everything about gold, silver, gemstones, diamonds and Rolex watches!

Before that I spent 3 years in college, I studied for 2years at a private beauty school to become a Beauty Therapist/Nail Tech and I then spent a year doing Buisness studies including marketing and advertising,

Then I got into modelling and have never looked back! 2010 has been such a fabulous year for me and I am realy proud of the things I have achieved, so before I start my blog a big thanks to all and everyone!
