The Royal Wedding 2011

So today at 11am was the wedding of Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton took place at Westminster Abbey, William first met Kate in 2001, while both were students at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement, which began on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November 2010.

How cute are these two, she is so classically beautiful and seems so elegant, I LOVED her dress it was designed by English designer Sarah Burton (at Alexander McQueen). It featured a lace applique bodice and skirt, and veil. Middleton wore her hair down, with a tiara. The lace, detailing a rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock, was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework, based at Hampton Court Palace.

I also adore the face instead of asking for wedding gifts they set up ''The Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton Charitable Gift Fund'' which focuses on assisting charities such as 'The New Zealand Christchurch Earthquake Appeal', 'The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary', 'The Royal Flying Doctor Service', and 'The Zoological Society of London'

Lastly how stuunning was her sister and that simple but classic bridesmaids dress she wore! The whole event was perfection
