Happy Holidays :)

This has been one of my favourite and best years for as long as I can remember! I was spoilt by my loved ones, My mum got me a new camera, clothes and some perfume/toiletries and Ash got me a pair of Ugg boots, Barbour Coat, clothes AND then he surprised me with a brand new pink laptop! I was so surprised, I was so happy and overwhelmed with the presents I already had that it was such an amazing surprise when he pulled out a big box and I opened it to find the laptop he knew mine had been broken for ages and barely working so it was lovely and thoughful, Best boyfriend EVER! LOL

I can't wait for our baby to arrive, one of the other amazing things to happen on Christmas Day when we were sat watching a film in the evening was Ash finally felt the baby kick for the first time when he had his hand on my stomach, I have felt them for a couple of weeks but he hadn't, I'm halfway through my pregnancy now (well in 2 days I will be 20weeks pregnant) & so impatient to meet our new arrival! We have also just found a new house and we are signing for it this week and then it is Ash's birthday on New Years Eve so I am really looking forward to  upcoming events that are happening, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, this time last year and the years before my life was so much different and had some very tough times, I would never in my wildest dreams have imagined that things could turn around and be so fantastic, I feel very blessed right now that I have everything I could have ever wanted and prayed for, I hope everyone else has had an amazing time too and now I have a new laptop and a new camera blogging will definatley be back on my list for 2012,

p.s I will try get some xmas pics uploaded ASAP
Love to you all x

Carmex moisture plus and a bit of baby bumpage!!

Before I start the picture of me has nothing to do with this blog post...I have been in all day today and was going to spend my time doing a make up look, which I did, but it was a total FAIL, so it's ended up in my recycle bin which is where it is staying, thankfully it doesn't look too bad on that pic as i'd changed the lipcolor and then put the pink carmex im about to talk about over the top (so it kind of relates a little bit i guess haha) but I still couldn't salvage it enough for it to be a full FOTD post!

Anyway todays post is about the above - Carmex moisture plus lipbalms, I just wanted to put up a quick review of these as I won them the other day in the lovely Kaushal's recent blog competition, I won all 3 shades they have - pink, peach and clear and was so excited as i've been wanting to get these for so long but never seen them in shops near me and was so close to ordering them from ASOS (rrp £4.99 each and I think in the US they are around $3 from the reviews i've read on makeupalley)

I only swatched the pink one as my battery then died on me you can see it's sheer, BUT the peach one is abit more pigmented not enough for it to be like a full lipcolour and the clear is errrm clear LOL!
They are just as moistourising as the regular carmex pots which I swear by the cherry has always been my fave but these have a vanilla scent which I must say is even better, I will be keeping the clear one by my bed to use on a night and before i put my make up on in the morning then will be making use of the peach and pink during the day and won't even have to worry about lip colour touch ups!

The lipstick like packaging makes them feel alot more sophisticated than your average balm and something you would even be good with taking on a night out, Who else has tried these? or if not what's your fave balm for the chapped lips winter loves to bring us?!

P.S I can't go without a bump pic also taken today (excuse my dusty mirror and the necklace hanging over haha)
Keep checking my pregnancy diary www.victoriaspregnancydiary.blogspot.com

Until next time! xxx

All I want for christmas isssssssssssss......

So as it's 4 weeks til the big day.....Christmas, I thought I would do a little wish list, I had a hard time thinking of things and it's still very limited so I will be updating this but I just do not know what I want this year! I already know a few things Ash bought me some camel ugg boots yesterday and my mum has bought me a new camera but apart from them 2 things I....A)Know nothing else I have (probabaly as I don't have nothing else yet haha) and B)Haven't the foggiest idea what the hell I want!

There is a few random stuff I have seen like shoes/clothes that I couldn't find online, and clothes and shoes are my fave things but with this ever expanding preggo waistline of mine it is becoming increasingly hard to find nice clothes that are going to fit, asking for maternity wear for xmas seems wrong (as it's all drab and boring!) ANYWAY enough rambling here's a few things I DO want!
I love Mariah Carey so her fragrance is on my wishlist

Also love this perfume so that's definatley a yes

NARS 'Schiap' lipstick the most beautiful matte fuchsia EVER

YSL rouge volupte lipstick (haven't picked a shade yet) I also want MAC 'Impassioned' but forgot to add a pic

I got the pandora bracelet for my 21st birthday (or possibly 22nd I can't remember!) but now I need more charms to go on it so would love some pandora charms

Shamballa bracelet, wasn't fussed by these at first now I really want one.....a bracelet of sparkly gorgeous balls....what's not to love ha ha

My names Vikki.....I am a bling addict LOL, men take note you can NEVER go wrong with diamonds :-p

Pauls Boutque diamante bag

I would get this myself but it's sold out.....so hoping santas saved one for me! Bargain at £8 for 24 eyeshadows and MUA is amazing quality for the price.
And that's it!! I really have nothing in mind I want, I love surprises anyway and never really have got presents I didn't like so I will leave it up to my loved ones to choose :)

p.s everything is good with me......15weeks pregnant now and getting bigger by the day :) Hope all my lovely and loyal readers are doing well, I am getting my blogging bug back xxx

Update on my baby's ultrasound earlier! & Visit my new pregnancy blog

Im going to try refrain from keep writing on here about my pregnancy apart from a few important stuff like this one (LOL) as I have done a pregnancy blog for the last few months I just haven't shared it but now I will.....it's http://victoriaspregnancydiary.blogspot.com

So I had my scan today everything was AMAZING, I am 13wks and 4 days now! Baby was moving around so much, It was honestley one of the happiest times of my life I wish I could feel like that everyday! My baby seems to love moving its arms about everywhere and rolling over, s/he give it's mummy & daddy a big wave and even rolled over and showed us it's spine and then turned face on to the scan probe, I could really talk about it all day it was that fab,

I am sooo excited for when he or she is here now and it's starting to feel very real, She also put my estimated due date at 17th may 2012 now so 2 days earlier than I thought which is good, I will be 14wks at the end of this week aswell so in that 2nd trimester finally,

Still no sickness again which is great hoping it's gone for good, I can have my anamoly scan (20wks) anytime from 22nd dec onwards but the scan clinic is so busy I have to wait until 3rd jan, I was really hoping we would find out before xmas or before Ash's birthday on new years eve but no we have to wait! I am so excited to find out what sex it is, and I will say this now - I am placing my bets on us been team blue! I just have a feeling it's a boy but we will soon find out if im right!

and I know I keep saying this but normal blogging will be resuming ASAP!

Where is Vikki!?!?!

Im here!!! Still, haha, it feels forever since I blogged and I am so disappointed at how i've let my blog slip it's just I have had 1001 things going on and my blogging mojo went abit, firstly since you all know i'm currentley pregnant and have been so horribly sick that I have rarely gone into town to buy anything new to blog about, secondly I have missed lots of work because of this and with xmas and said baby coming up am on a tight budget so make up and beauty stuff are at the bottom of my 'things to buy' list right now which makes me extremely sad but got to be done *sigh* instead of the mountains of make up I used to buy in it's place now is an impressive collection of baby stuff/babygrows/bibs etc so that's what my moneys going on instead of fun make up roll on santa coming and hopefully I will get some treats of my own haha

THEN when I got my blogging mojo back last week I lost my camera, what a fail, it was found later in Ashs glove compartment so TOMORROW it is my mission to photograph lots of things and schedule some daily or every other day posts so I can get my blog back on the go, thanks to everyone that's still following me and bearing with me,

next up I have a new kitty (yes that makes 3 now as I speak the new one is cosied up with my other young one it's the cutest thing ever he seems to think she's his momma!) Ash got him as a surprise (I returned the surprise when I informed him he would be cleaning the litter tray as pregnant people aren't allowed near cat faeces! LOL)

Sorry for the crap picture but this was from the 'I-lost-my-camera' week so done on the crap piece of technology that is  my blackberry
He's called Tiger and sooooooooooo small and cute
So that is a little update from me, I have another scan on Monday I can't wait to share the picture with you all hopefully it will look alot bigger than the last scan where it was teeny weeny, I will then link the pregnancy blog I have been working on abit for any other mums-to-be or people planning babies out there,

Hope all you lovelies are well, I have still been tweeted so if you want to follow me @vikki_model I follow back all my lovely readers xx

Gorgeous acessories from Je Suis Prettyful.....

These new goodies I have to show you today are handmade and beautifully crafted by the lovely Carmen of 'Je Suis Prettyful', Carmen is a fellow blogger check out her blog HERE there is some fab make up looks that I wish I could do! And it was one of the first blogs I followed when I set up a google account and my own blog last year, and now Carmen is putting her other talents to good use and has set up her own Etsy shop selling amazing everday accessories and bridal ones.

I got this gorgeous embellished headband that will look such a fabulous statement piece when worn with a little black dress and I feel so glam when I have tried it on, it is such a gorgeous olive green colour too that works so well against my hair but I can imagine this looking just as good on lighter hair too, and also available in red and pink.

I also got these cute little red flower style earrings, that are so cute and i've been wearing nearly everyday,

and finally these 2 amazing handcrafted flower hair pins that come in an array of colours, they are so pretty and have small little pearls in the middle that is such a lovely detail to add, you can see they are also beautifully packaged in a lovely box with a bow so you can store them in this, I actually want to get married like NOW just so I can wear these, they are soooo stunning and this sounds so cheesey but the fact everything has been handmade and had so much work go into them makes them feel all that more special!

And can I just say all 3 of these items are such GOOD quality, they feel so luxurious, I can't say it enough, I know from experience alot of acessories I have fall to bits after a few wears especially high street items but I just know these will last for a long time.

You can check out the full line at www.jesuisprettyful.etsy.com and everything on there is FREE SHIPPING both domestic and internation which is amazing as I know alot of my readers are from overseas and I feel bad when I blog about items you can only get in the UK!

To keep up with updated on the twitter page HERE and finally make sure you go like the facebook page HERE as when it hits 100 likes there will be a giveaway!!

Big thank you to the lovely and talented Carmen!

BlueBerry FOTD! Blue liner/Berry lips

Hi everyoneeeeee thought I would be back with a quick FOTD, I haven't worn much make up alately or nothing exciting so this is the best I have to offer you on recent FOTDs! One thing I am loving is ELF Mineral foundation which surprised me soooooooooo much I will definatley be repurchasing (full review coming soon) and one thing I am HATING is ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer (went straight in the bin after one go not worth 10p never mind £3.50! It's not good unless you like to look orange, patchy and a general mess LOL)

Anyways todays FOTD is a coloured lined eye with berry lips, I love the colder months to rock berry lips. I thought as an alternative to my usual black liner I would do a navy, it's stil dark so defines well but a softer alternative the navy colour I used was from Sleek's Monaco Palette, you can see my review of that HERE the shade was 'Midnight Garden' then instead of using the same colour on my lower lashline and waterline or not using one I though I would team a lighter colour so from the same palette used 'Humming Bird' which is a shimmery turquoise colour, I used a angled liner brush to apply these and just wet it slightly and it as they are so pigmented it worked out fairly well, also to start with I used a eye primer and a neutral colour from the MUA Heaven and Earth palette

The other products I used aswell that I haven't mentioned were -
  •  L'oreal Telescopic mascara
  • NYC Chroma Face Glow in 'Sunstone' (I LOVE this so sad it's been discontinued, my mum has the other shade 'Moonstone' and that too is amazing, read the reviews on makeupalley HERE I think it's still around on some online sites like amazon or Ebay and I highly recommend!)
  • ELF Blush in 'Flushed'
  • Rimmel Professional Eyebrow pencil
  • ELF Eyelid Primer
  • 2True Colour Drench Lipstick 'shade 5'
  • NYX Long lipliner in 'Pinky'

Discounted Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle 05 Lipstick limited offer from BuyaPowa!

BuyaPowa firstly is basically a site with the concept of getting us customers bulk-buy discounts on items we want and love and which have previously only been available to retailers.

BuyaPowa has specfic items as whats called a 'co-buy' and each co-buy lasts for a limited time and will have a limited number of units (usually 100) - when it's sold out, it's sold out. And, most importantly, as more and more people join the co-buy, the price gets lower and lower. But, when the co-buy closes, everyone who has joined will pay the final price. So it doesn't matter whether you're the first in there or the last in line - everyone gets to pay the lowest price achieved.

Every co-buy has three price-drops - which work in this way:
  • 1 person - 24 people: our opening price - below RRP and roughly comparable with Amazon prices
  • 25 people - 49 people: first price drop
  • 50 people - 74 people: second price drop
  • 75 people - 100 people: third and final price drop - best price achieved
Its great to spread the word as the more friends/people you get in on the deals the cheaper the products we want to buy end up being for us! Still unclear? Read their FAQs HERE which answer most of your questions
BuyaPowa was doing the magnetic nail polish from Nails Inc last week which is a new product and went for £7 which is nearly half off the original RRP and the amazing YSL touche eclat went for an amazing £13 the other day....the current Co-buy is the much loved and infamous Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle 05 Lipstick ....It is starting at cheaper than the RRP anyway - £19.99 instead of £23 and thats if less than 25 people buy it which im sure more people will be interested than that for such a bargain,  then it drops in price with -
25-49 people: £18.99
50-74 people: £17.99
Best price: £16.99
P&P: £2.00

What a classic and stunning lipstick get yours HERE NOW it's going to be a fast seller!!

YSL Arty ring DUPE!!! For less than £2

Who doesn't love a good dupe! I know normally dupes are for make up but today I have for you the dupe YSL 'Arty Ring' the ring im sure you have all seen that retails for £140, now it's nice but from my point of view I don't wear jewellery often enough to spend £140 on a dress ring (especialIy a gold plated one at that #JustSaying) This is the 'real' one -

Then onto my dupe one....I got this baby for $2.99 which is about £1.92 including free worldwide delivery! It is from Hong Kong so does take a while but that's so worth it in my opinion!

Sorry the pics have abit of a pink tinge I had to use artifical light the ebay seller has some clear pics, it is also available in different colour stones this is Turquoise even though it looks a green shade thanks to that stupid lighting! I thought it would be flimsy and feel cheap but it feels quite heavy and as good quality as most other high street dress jewellery but even on the high street you wouldn't get a price like this! The fitting is quite small though so bear that in mind.

HERE is the seller and if you look at all their items they are sooooo nice and all so cheap i'll be buying more, I think they only have this ring with the turquoise like mine and the black stone in stock at the moment but they did used to have red and a few other colours but im sure they will get some more in and in no way am I affiliated with them (I paid my £1.92 thank you very much ha ha) I just thought I would share a bargain with my lovelies!

It's been too long friends!.........

Since I blogged over a week ago! I am being a terrible blogger alately and your lucky if you get a post a week out of me I know but i'm still feeling ill, 3 times this week I have been sick from the minute I wake up until the minute I go to sleep so I haven't even thought about touching the computer, started to feel slighly better this evening and hopefully it will carry on, so as we speak I am writing a list of all the things I need to blog about there is ALOT! Not many make up looks though as my 'sick face' is totally au naturel although if I am going to the doctor I do the decent thing and shove on abit of concealer and blush.....as no1 deserves to see my totally naked face haha.

I have still been reading a few blogs so don't worry I haven't disappeared all together, I will definatley be back this week, only 25 followers away until 500 now and my next giveaway YAY!

I also have THE best news ever to share with you but I am keeping it top secret for a few more weeks :)

Hope all my blogger-ina's and readers are doing well xoxox

Who wants a gel eyeliner for less than £1!!!!!!!

So you may remember in my ELF brush post HERE I mentioned I had a new BARGAIN gel eyeliner I was currentley using with my new ELF studio angled liner brush and it has become on of my favourites really fast, I love gel eyeliners as the lasting power and intensity is amazing so when I heard about this one I HAD to try it I first saw it when the lovely Nicoletta did a blog post on bargains she had found and this sounded fab. It is from Ebay (Ebay I know!) and is unbranded the exact link I got mine from is HERE and as it is from Hong Kong they offer worldwide shipping so you can all get your hands on it no matter where you are, and YES you have read correctley this little baby cost me 99p with 29p delivery, YES THATS £1.28 (or for any americans that's just under $2!) The delivery does take a while (mine took about 10 days but thats only a minor issue)

The liner is so creamy and easy to use and boy does it last! It's waterproof so can be abit annoying to budge at night but an oil based eye make up remover worked well, or good old olive oil and water (bit of a DIY tip for you there) It is totally smudge proof so once it's dry it is set for the day, i've also put it on my waterline and it hasn't irritated my eyes (although don't take my word for this as everyone is different) and like I said before it is really dark black in one swipe which is important for me with liners, here are some pics of me wearing it and obviously a swatch!.....

My boring face LOL

Sooooo I haven't done a FOTD for a while and the truth is *confession time* I have been so freaking boring alately with my make up.....it seriously is 'different day...same crap' haha. Sooo I thought I would share with you what I lovingly call my 'boring face' and it comes with a pact that this week I will make a special effort to inject some colour and vibrancy into my face! I just love looks like this as I can do it in like 10mins and it's fresh, simple, easy, goes with everything..etc etc..you get my drift!

So the boring 'classic FOTD' basically consists of a brown-y/bronz-y/neutral sort of look. I used MAC Ever hip lipstick and 2 shadows from the 'Urban Decay Preen Shadow Box' which is an old palette although still available in places I love the colours in this they are all ideal for me, -

The shadows I used were 'Toasted' the bottom left one all over the lid (after using primer potion) and then 'Smog' it's friend to the side in the outer corners, I was using the top colour 'Snatch' to highlight but it has quite chunky bits of glitter in which fall all over my face! Grr!

I have been abit Urban Decay crazy at the minute and recentley bought the Naked palette (59years after everyone *yawn* haha), The Book Of Shadows Vol III, and the Deluxe Shadow Box. Soooooo there is some beautiful colours in them that I will be abusing shortly!

Hope you are all having/had a fab weekend!

Vikki xoxo
